Please read these terms of use ("Terms") carefully before using our closed caption creation service ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
- Description of Service: Our website provides a closed caption creation service that allows users to upload video files and receive SRT (SubRip Subtitle) files as output. The Service charges users on a per-minute basis for processing their video files and extracting text from the lower third of the video frame.
- Payment and Charges: Users agree to pay the specified rate per minute of video processed by the Service. Payment is due at the time of upload and is non-refundable. Users must make payment prior to processing their video files.
- User Content: Users are solely responsible for the content they upload to the Service. By uploading content, users guarantee that they have obtained all necessary rights and clearances for the use of the content. Users retain ownership of the content they upload and the closed captions generated by the Service.
- Text Extraction Service: The current active product of the Service is the text extraction service, which analyzes the lower third of the video frame to extract any existing embedded text. The Service does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the extracted text and is not responsible for any errors or omissions.
- Prohibited Conduct: Users agree not to use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited purpose. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, uploading copyrighted material without permission, uploading explicit or offensive content, and attempting to disrupt or damage the Service.
- Intellectual Property: All intellectual property rights related to the Service, including but not limited to trademarks, copyrights, and patents, are owned by us or our licensors. Users may not use our trademarks or copyrighted material without our prior written consent.
- Disclaimer of Warranties: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the closed captions generated by the Service.
- Limitation of Liability: In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or interruption of business.
